The Global Centre for International Law (GCIL) is a globally impartial and globally inclusive social enterprise, created with the objective of applying and developing international law to promote global societal aims. These aims include equitable global development, the protection of human and social rights and protection of the environment. Bringing together experience in over 90 countries and the world’s global and regional mechanisms, GCIL lawyers will promote a range of activities including global networking, knowledge building, technical assistance, consultancy and research. GCIL will be launching formally later in 2016.
